Push further; moving God

Pushing further to move God

God created countless things that have unfathomable power and influence, and some are even eternal.  One factor is so obvious, yet it does not receive the real recognition it deserves.

Personally I think it’s the most powerful thing God ever created. Somewhat, it even surpasses love.  If you are wondering what this aspect I am referring to is, let me show you its power.  In Matthew 20:29-33 NKJV

The two blind men understood the principle; pushing further. Even when the crowd tried to  silence them, they didn’t give in. They stood their ground and insisted till they drew Christ’s  attention.

They got His attention by persistence. Had they kept quiet after the multitude tried to keep them quiet,  there is a high chance they were going to remain blind forever. This is because Christ was about to leave earth around this time(to be crucified).

The healing of these blind men wasn’t by any means luck. Their persistence led to their healing. This is still the same today.

Many Christians join the faith in hope of miracles, breakthroughs and other wishes they may have. But what happens when they ask God and don’t get an answer? What happens when the devil throws self doubt their way?

Unfortunately most lose faith after. Some go on to fall from the faith wholly. Others go on to even  question if God exists or cares about them. However, is this the way the blind men reacted when the multitude tried to stop them? When the devil tried to silence them? When Jesus seemed not to be hearing their voices, calling unto Him?

No, they persisted until Christ heard them. And solved their problem. This is what is lacking in most modern day believers. Persistence in faith. Yet even secular people understand the power in this principle, they just call it consistency. Showing up every single day, whether things are going well or not. Putting in the effort, persistently, until the day things start working out.

You need to keep pressing, hoping and not giving up faith. Just like those blind men. Remember, our God is neither late nor too early. He comes just in time. So it’s not really about when your prayers will be answered, it’s more about how your prayer requests are aligned with God’s will.  God rarely answers prayers if they are not in alignment with His will. However, this shouldn’t stop you from praying, you never know what may change or happen in the future. One who might have been praying for a job, could end up receiving a business idea. One who was hoping so much for a visa, might end up receiving full citizenship of the country he/she wants to go to.

But you can’t reach this far, if you give up after receiving no answer on your first try. Sometimes it’s not that God can’t hear you, but He wants to test how deeply you want something. Are you just fretting or you actually need what you are asking for?

Only persistence can show that. So, push further.
