What do you do, when things aren’t going as planned?
No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a [d]vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.
How many among us have resorted to all sorts of solutions to solve our seemingly very scary problem. Some even go on to compromise their integrity by resorting to all sorts of dirty unspeakable acts to resolve the issue.
Is it money, are you homeless, almost getting fired or just lost a loved one?
These situations are very scary, ugly and may even drive some, to a point of death but what do you do when life forces you to face these scenarios?
Do you cry and whine about it all day? Or do you just hate everyone and just isolate yourself? Perhaps try to get revenge or hurt those who made you go through that pain?
What should you do in such situations?
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.
This is the way you are supposed to react when life seems to be bending in, from all angles. I am not trying to say that I do not acknowledge how scary or bad the situation or the person may be but by only trusting in the Lord, can you overcome it.
His promises endure forever. If even David, who faced near death multiple times every single time he marched to war but the Lord always preserved him. The verses you read above were written by him, David. You may not be fighting a physical war like him, but your life may be a whole other war on its own.
Rather than letting it get to the better side of you, put it into the Lord’s hand and wait on Him. He always delivers.
